Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Wonderfood app, provided by Francesco Scalise ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use Wonderfood

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• The information you give when signing up must be true, and your account is personal: you can't create one on someone else's behalf.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens with your account. If you think someone else is using it, change your password and write to us.

2. The service

Wonderfood lets you log the food you taste, complete the FoodDex, share posts and trips and follow other people. The app is free. We may improve it, change its features or, with reasonable notice, discontinue it. We do our best to keep it running, but there may be interruptions, errors or data loss.

3. Your content

• The photos, texts and comments you post remain yours.
• By posting them, you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to store them, adapt them (for example, resize photos) and show them to other users according to your settings, only to run Wonderfood. The permission ends when you delete them or your account, except for backup copies, which are overwritten within 14 days.
• You may only post content you have the rights to, and that doesn't violate the rights of others (for example, photos of people who don't want to appear).

4. Community rules

Wonderfood has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post or do:

• illegal, violent or sexually explicit content, or content that promotes hatred or discrimination;
• harassment, threats, bullying or intimidation of other users;
• spam, scams, unsolicited advertising or fake accounts, or impersonating someone else;
• other people's personal data without their consent;
• content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
• attempts to access other people's accounts or data, to overload or get around the service's protections, or to use it with automated programs.

You can report posts and users and block anyone you don't want to see, right in the app. We review reports within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or delete the accounts that posted it.

5. Suspending and deleting accounts

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or the law; in less serious cases we warn you first and explain why. If you think it's a mistake, write to support@wonderfood.scalise.dev.

6. Food information

FoodDex entries and food facts are for information only and may contain inaccuracies. They are not dietary or medical advice: for allergies, intolerances or diets always ask a professional and whoever prepares the food.

7. Ownership of the app

The Wonderfood name, the app, the FoodDex, the design and the texts (except users' content) belong to us. You may not copy them or use them outside the app without our permission.

8. Liability

Everyone is responsible for the content they post: we don't check it before it's published, but we act when it's reported to us. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from using, or being unable to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content or its support, and has no obligation to maintain or support it.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account; by continuing to use the app you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes with consumers are handled by the courts of the place where the consumer lives, and you keep any protection granted by the law of your country.
